Happy Referral Day for Julia (4 years ago)....

Day 30

I told the girls when they got home yesterday that it is supposed to get nice out this weekend which may mean no more snow. So the girls wanted me to pull them on the sled behind the 4 wheeler. So thank goodness my friend vanessa made a mai tai for me. I got max all strapped in and we did a few loops around the yard.... i'm sure that the girls had fun but they wanted me to go fast......

Our star of the week. It was Sophia's week to shine... Max and I brought her special treat for Fun Friday and they had ice cream. Max thought he was in kindergarten it was hilarous..... She brought all the things that she loves to school.....

Day 22

No picture today. I am so sad because Max gave a royal puke on my new ottoman that goes with my new chair. You know i had it scotch guarded but let me tell you that the puke did NOT roll right off of it. I think i will be calling the furniture store tomorrow... Pink puke on my new carpet and chair........ I just want to cry....... Bob got him laughing and then he started coughing and then yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I am trying so hard to find gratitude for today.... So i will just say i'm glad my friends Angie and Vanessa came for a playgroup. I was going to take a picture of the kids playing and got busy talking.....

I am trying to tell myself it is just a chair but Man, when you wait 10 years to get new furniture it hurts...........

Julia asked for her picture to be on the blog. So here she is waiting for the bus to come :) Oh and today was like 43 so the lovely snow is gone :(

Ok, I have to digress... since i was back looking at my pictures from when i was in Korea I had to post this picture again taken one year ago today, not because i look lovely, but because i remember how uncomfortable i was with eating at a place that no one spoke English, giving the lady a piece of paper that i had no idea what it said i was asking to eat and then remember all these workers coming in and eating little pots and we get this......... it was too fun.........

We had our Chinese New Year Party tonight for our Metro East Playgroup and boy was it a fun time. We had a nice time seeing old friends and meeting some new ones. How cute is this group. We had about 50-60 people and the kids sure did have fun.....

It is soooo cold today.....early dismissal day at school.....girls are curled up on couch watching tv....me watching the fire....... best way to spend an afternoon.........

Boy, I hate having a bulging disc......so I am thankful for the person who created heating pads.......

I am grateful to have a friend like Debby who will come out to the country on a cold cold day for a cup of "fake" java..........

I also had to take a picture of my little man......isn't he just too cute today.....HAM!!

Mondays i spend a lot of time in my second home.........I am grateful that it has heated seats.......

Today the girls were dressed in matching outfits.... i meant to take a picture and then we got busy... so i will steal a few old pictures. It's funny how they love to dress the same, giving the feeling of twins yet they are so different......

Gotta love when they become independent and can do things for themselves.....but how do you teach them that they can only undress at home and not in public????

I love picking up the girls from school because it always puts a smile on my face when i pull in the driveway and know that this house is our home... it makes me appreciate all the love and work that we have put into it for our family

I thought i would start with keeping my sense of humor. I am so grateful for a husband who isn't afraid to dispose of unwanted guests, and a daughter who isn't squeamish of them......... hee hee

I love blogging and I thought that this might be one way to count my daily blessings and help me to work on my new years resolution......... to find beauty in something each day, to be thankful for the Gifts that God gives me and to see the postive things in my life even if that task is hard some days...........
